All these people listed above have represented Virginia at the highest levels of our government, and yet are not native-born Virginians.
It is not that all of them have not represented Virginia well; some have, and some have not! I only wonder what our first president of the United States, a Virginian, George Washington, would say about this? George Washington was an independent and did not believe in a party system.

Janice Lee Allen can claim ancestry to eight generations in the Shenandoah Valley. Virginians born in the state are very capable of running their own affairs.
