Staunton Senior Center Fabric to Be Shipped Overseas

ssc-headerBetel Ministries in Great Britain is going to be able to make great use of fabric donated by Staunton Senior Center.

Betel Ministries works with people who struggle with addictions such as alcohol and drugs, and one way they do this is by providing jobs for residents of the program that largely finance Betel Ministries as well as rehabilitate the individuals. Betel has created businesses such as gift shops and upholstery, so that is where the Center got involved.

Earlier this week, Center Director Lynn Harris chose fabric that SSC would not be using but which would be much appreciated by Betel. So not only did Staunton Senior Center get to do some cleaning out, the Center will be able to support a ministry across the water!
