DuPont Community Credit Union recently announced local winners from the Greater Augusta area in its annual college-scholarship program.

The winners were chosen from a field of more than 140 applicants.

The winners were:
– Heather Bowling, Buffalo Gap High School, daughter of Margaret and George Bowling.
– Danielle McEwen, Fort Defiance High School, daughter of Anntonette and Jerome McEwen.
– Trenley Anderson, Robert E. Lee High School, daughter of Tanya Peduto and Paul Anderson.
– Allison M. Funk, Riverheads High School, daughter of Juanita and Paul Funk.
– Kerby Hatter, Stuarts Draft High School, daughter of Tina and Daniel Hatter.
– David Ranzini, Stuart Hall, son of Joan and Joseph Ranzini.
– Amanda Wilson, Waynesboro High School, daughter of Jamala-Jo and David Wilson.
– Aryles Hedjar, Wilson Memorial High School, son of Kaci and Samia Hedjar.
