Downtown Harrisonburg is the place to be Friday night, with two events on the schedule to give you something to do.

The First Fridays Art Walk is on from 5-7 p.m. with events at Larkin Art Studios, The 150 Franklin Street Gallery, Oasis Art Gallery, Hardesty-Higgins House and 3on3 Art at Newman-Riddle Building.

The Fridays on the Square film and concert series takes over at 8 p.m. with a dance workshop by Dancing with Karen and a screening of Baz Luhrman’s “Strictly Ballroom” at dark.

And in between – you have time to get something to eat.
