Waynesboro Downtown Development Inc. is looking for a few good chili chefs.

Chili chefs from across the Valley and Central Virginia are invited to take part in the second annual Chili, Blues ‘N Brews Cook-off sponsored by WDDI. The Cook-off is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 6, from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Pavilion in Constitution Park in Downtown Waynesboro.

Chefs in the International Chili Society cook-off can compete for a combined purse of $2,250 for the top three places.

There is also a People’s Choice Cook-off with cash prizes of $250 for first place, $150 for second place and $100 for third place.

The registration deadline is Aug. 15.
