There are a number of things that can influence where you decide to move to in Europe. Once you understand your interests and your reason for wanting to relocate, you can measure each country using the indicators that match your interests.

For example, if you are moving there to do business you will probably be interested in how easy it is to start a business in that country and how conducive the tax rules and regulations are. This article will look at the various issues that make each country special.

Sweden

This is the place to move to if you have children or are planning on starting a family. Their health benefits are just amazing. With every visit to a healthcare centre, you will pay between 100 and 250 Swedish kroners which translates to between $10 and 26. However, when what you have paid totals to 1,000kr or about $103, the rest of your treatment is offered for free.

Should the lady have a child, the couple is entitled to 480 fully paid leave days, and they are at liberty to share the days among themselves as they please. This is a far cry from what most countries offer, a mere 2 weeks for the dad and 6 months for the mother.

Switzerland

This is the place for you if you are going to work, especially in the banking, insurance or finance industries. The salaries in Switzerland are about double what you get in other European countries.

Their education system is regarded as one of the best in the world, and your children can choose between the public, international or English schools. You will also enjoy quality healthcare services.

Denmark

You might feel that relocating to Denmark is a daunting affair, but it doesn’t matter where you live, some moving companies provide services internationally, so you can always talk to them to see how they can help.

The philosophy behind Denmark’s welfare system is that everybody should be able to access social services whatever their social background. There is a well-known secret that should you lose your job, the government continues paying you 90 percent of your salary for a maximum of 2 years.

Whether you choose to settle in one of the super cities or the smaller cities, you will never be lonely as there are so many clubs of like-minded people that you will easily find one to join. Entertainment is high on the list in Germany.

As a young person, you will be interested to know that Germany has the lowest youth unemployment rates in Europe. They have established a well-run apprenticeship scheme where training is conducted alongside education for the vocational courses.

United Kingdom

With some of the best universities in the world, the United Kingdom is a great place to move to if you want to further your education. You will also find that the British focus more on quality of life rather than on wealth.

As a citizen of the UK, you are entitled to free healthcare. It is comforting to know that should you need emergency treatment, the doctors and nurses will get right to it without wasting time trying to find out if you have insurance or not.

If you are interested in the arts, you will never be bored in the UK. They offer a large spectrum of activities such as the theatre, films, concerts and music. You will also have fun exploring historical sites.
