JMU announces 2014 Hall of Fame class

jmu logoJames Madison University will induct four people and one team in its 2014 class for the JMU Athletics Hall of Fame.

Among the inductees are former student-athletes Gail Decker Wittman (lacrosse), Mike Fox (men’s cross country/track and field), Delvin Joyce (football), Lisa Staedt Ojea (lacrosse), and the 1994 NCAA champion field hockey team. The ceremony will take place on Friday, Nov. 21, with the group also being recognized at the Nov. 22 home football game, against Elon.

The induction ceremony of the 27th group of honorees will be held at the JMU Festival Conference & Student Center Grand Ballroom, with a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m. and dinner and program at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $45 for an individual, $85 for a couple or $325 for a table of eight and can be purchased by contacting the JMU Ticket Office at 540-568-Duke (3853) or through the online ticket service at JMUDukeClub.com/rsvp. Deadline for RSVPs are November 10.
