Fall Household Hazardous Waste event

Augusta County’s Annual Fall Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event will be held from 8:30 a.m. until noon Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Augusta County Government Center in Verona. 

The following will be accepted from households only:

  • solvents
  • paints (oil-based only)
  • fuels
  • antifreeze
  • used oil
  • lead-acid batteries
  • rechargeable batteries
  • mercury devices
  • fluorescent bulbs
  • computers
  • computer equipment
  • small electronics

The event is open to all Augusta County, Staunton and Waynesboro residents.  Waste from business will not be accepted.  For questions, please call 540-245-5615 for visit the county government website at www.co.augusta.va.us.
