The sixth annual Lexington Science Festival and Maker Faire will be Sunday, Oct. 13, from 2-5 p.m.
The Lexington Science Festival and Maker Faire is an annual interactive science fair. Situated across multiple venues in historic downtown Lexington, the festival features interactive STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) exhibits for young students (elementary and middle-school) and their families, as well as a maker faire where guests are encouraged to design and build a specific project.
This free event draws 400 to 500 visitors from the greater Rockbridge area and surrounding counties.
Children must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian.
Shuttle bus service between Lexington Presbyterian Church and the VMI exhibits will be provided.
