The Wildlife Center of Virginia is sponsoring two training classes on wildlife rehabilitation on Saturday in Middletown.

The classes are designed for people who are interested in learning more about providing basic health care for wildlife.

The class schedule includes a 10 a.m. to noon course called Introduction to Wildlife Capture, Restraint, Handling and Transportation, and a 1-3 p.m. course called Wildlife Zoonoses, which are diseases of animals that are transmissible to humans.

The classes will be held in Room 124 of Lord Fairfax Community College in Middletown.

The fee for each class is $15.

Additional information, and class registration information, is available at [email protected] or 540.942.9453.
