wb farmers marketThe Waynesboro Farmer’s Market is under way. The market is held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday through October, at the Constitution Park Pavilion in downtown Waynesboro located off of Main Street (Route 250).

The 2015 market features yet again a wide variety of locally produced food items and crafts including locally grown vegetables, meats (poultry, pork, beef), eggs, bedding plants, vegetable starts, cut flowers, homemade baked goods, handcrafted jewelry, metal-craft and pottery. It is a one-stop shopping destination for your favorite farm to fork experiences.

The Waynesboro Farmer’s Market is presented by Project GROWS, a nonprofit community farm with a mission to improve the overall health of children and youth in Staunton, Waynesboro, and Augusta County through food education, food distribution, and food production. More information on Project GROWS can be found at www.projectgrows.org.

The WFM is held each Saturday, May through October from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Constitution Park Pavilion in Waynesboro. Over the last two years the market grown tremendously by expanding the variety of producers and conducting targeted community outreach to make more local residents aware of the market.
