Pets the focus of Fridays on the Square

The family-friendly “Fly Away Home” will be the featured entertainment this week at Fridays on the Square in Downtown Harrisonburg.

Dog trainer Wendy Perry from PetSmart will be on hand before the film to teach audience members more about their four-legged friends. Perry will demonstrate safety tips such as how to approach a dog, what to do if a dog acts shy and some general rules of thumb for interacting with pets.

The evening begins on Court Square at 8 p.m. The film will start at 8:30 p.m.
