McAuliffe orders evaluation of major state IT, service contracts

Today Governor Terry McAuliffe issued Executive Directive Number Two, directing the Virginia Secretaries of Administration, Finance and Technology to deliver a report on the Commonwealth’s practices with respect to information technology and service contracting and to make recommendations on how to spend taxpayer dollars with greater efficiency and accountability.
