Women’s Forum focus on ‘Living a Powerful Life’

The Women’s Forum in Harrisonburg is presenting a talk by James Madison University public-relations veteran Milla Sue Wisecarver on Thursday at 11:45 a.m.

The talk, titled “Living a Powerful Life,” is part of a luncheon that will be held at the Holiday Inn on Market Street in Harrisonburg. Registration begins at 11:45 a.m., and the luncheon begins at noon.

Wisecarver is the assistant director of sports media relations at JMU. She has been at the school for 34 years, the last 15 in the sports media relations department.

The cost to attend the luncheon is $15 for Women’s Forum members and $20 for guests.
