Harrisonburg: Rasoul, Allen to debate at EMU

Sixth District congressional candidates Janice Lee Allen and Sam Rasoul will take part in a debate at Eastern Mennonite University tonight at 7 p.m. in the President’s Reception Room on second floor of the University Commons.

Allen, an independent, and Rasoul, the Democratic Party nominee, are challenging Republican Congressman Bob Goodlatte for the Sixth District seat. Goodlatte was consulted and invited to this debate, but he is unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict, according to an EMU spokesperson.

The debate is open to the public.
