Atlanta Braves top Washington Nationals, 4-1

nationals_logoA four-run fourth gave Atlanta the offense in a 4-1 win over the Washington Nationals on Wednesday.

A.J. Pierzynski hit a two-run homer, Juan Uribe hit a solo shot, and Matt Wisler capped the inning with a two-run single off Doug Fister (3-4, 4.34 ERA).

Wisler (2-1, 2.60 ERA) got the win, holding the Nats scoreless in five and a third innings of one-hit ball.

Washington (43-35, 3.5 game lead in the National League East) got its lone run on a two-out RBI single in the seventh from Denard Span.

Jason Grilli pitched a 1-2-3 ninth for his 22nd save.
