Augusta Health will open a Convenient Care Clinic to handle routine health issues in Crozet on April 30.

Augusta Health Convenient Care Clinic at Old Trail, Crozet, located at 1005 Heathercroft Circle in the Old Trail Village Center, will be open seven days a week and staffed by well-qualified Augusta Health nurse practitioners.  Hours will be from 10 am until 6 pm, Monday through Friday, and 10 am until 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Care will be available for adults and children ages two and older.  “The Convenient Care Clinic at Old Trail, Crozet will provide another avenue of healthcare to our community,” says L. Courtenay Beebe, MD, Executive Director of August Medical Group.  “The clinic will provide preventive care services, like physical exams and immunizations, and acute care services for common health ailments that are treatable without emergency or urgent care, like sore throats, sinus infections and common colds.  Our emphasis will be on quality and convenient access and customer service while keeping costs as low as possible.”

An Open House to give the community the opportunity to tour the facility and meet the staff will be held Saturday, April 28 from 10 am until noon.  The Open House will also feature free health screenings and children’s face painting.

“People don’t necessarily get sick or hurt during regular office hours.  This Convenient Care Clinic, like our others, helps Augusta Health to provide care to our community when they need it and where they need it,” adds Dr. Beebe.  “We’re very pleased to be able to provide this new service to our community.”

Augusta Health is an independent, nonprofit community hospital with a mission to promote the health and well-being of our community through access to excellent care.
