Sixth District: Goodlatte, Rasoul, Allen to debate

There are two Sixth District congressional candidate debates on the schedule this week.

Republican incumbent Bob Goodlatte, Democratic Party nominee Sam Rasoul and independent Janice Lee Allen will appear at a candidates forum sponsored by the Roanoke County PTA tonight at 7 p.m. The forum will be held at William Byrd High School in Vinton.

On Thursday, the candidates will meet for a forum sponsored by WSVA-550AM at the Holiday Inn on East Market Street in Harrisonburg at 10 a.m.

The debate will be carried live on WSVA.

The Augusta Free Press will be on hand for the Thursday debate and will provide full coverage, including reaction from the campaigns.
