Richmond Police identify victim in Hull Street Road murder

Richmond Police have identified the victim in a Sunday murder on Hull Street Road.

James Owens, 38, of Chesterfield, suffered an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident, which was reported to police at 5:36 p.m.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.

Anyone with information about this homicide investigation is asked to call Major Crimes Detective P. Ripley at (804) 646-0423 or contact Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
