The one of its kind services by them ensures to make it convenient for you as well as for them as they don’t need to forever keep asking you where a certain thing is situated.

Organizing a house is an everyday job when you are living with your family (god forbid a joint family) which also has some rambunctious children and pets. The word ‘clutter’ becomes a part and parcel of life and is as acceptable as sunrise and sunset. So, what so you do? Do you let the clutter be? Do you do the cleaning once in a while or when you are expecting guests? But that is not only unhygienic but cleaning and organizing once in a while piles up the clutter every day. And in the end, when you start cleaning and organizing it takes more time and energy than it would have taken to do the job every day.

The other option is organize all the items and things in your house. Let there be a place for everything and everything in its place. Follow a few simple steps towards organizing your house and never having to take time to find anything:

1. Unwanted clutter:

The first step towards organizing your house is to get rid of the extra things around the house. Look out for things coming under these three categories:

  • Things you don’t need
  • Things you have in surplus and won’t need
  • Things you can do without.

Bifurcating the clutter around the house can help you realize that there is so much in the house that you don’t need. Get rid of it to simplify the process of organizing your house.

2. Decide a place for everything:

Once you have gotten rid of all the extra stuff, now you know that whatever remains is the stuff that is useful around the house. Now what you can do is further bifurcate the clutter according to its use or the area of the house it should belong. For e.g. if there are books in the clutter, they should go in the reading area, if the clutter has dishes and other utensils they go to the kitchen. If you find shoes lying around, they should go to their destined area.

3. Use of containers and baskets:

You are very lucky if you have extra storage spaces and cupboards or pantry area in the kitchen to store all your extra beddings, linens, books, groceries that you buy in bulk etc. But if not, the most favourable option would be to store them in containers and baskets ranging in different sizes according to the things you want to store in them. For e.g. you would need airtight containers in your kitchen to store the bulk groceries, you can do with baskets situated in different places in your house to keep your extra books or a small basket that holds all the keys to your house.

4. Label the containers and basket:

Make it a point always to store like items in a basket or container so it is easier to find what you are looking for. Also label the baskets, especially which contain items than you rarely use and are planning to put it away, so as to avoid the inconvenience of opening every basket to remember what you stored in them months ago.
