fms kiskiThe Fishburne Military School postgrad basketball team, coming off back-to-back appearances in the National Prep Championships, will be returning to New Haven, Conn., in November to begin its bid for a third straight national-tourney run.

The trip to the Nov. 21-22 NERR Prep Showcase was announced this week along with the rest of the 2014-2105 FMS PG schedule, which includes home-and-home series with military school rivals Hargrave Military Academy and Fork Union Military Academy and an early-season matchup with miller school.

The regular season gets under way on Oct. 26 with a home game against a club team from Virginia Tech. The Caissons will have two scrimmages, on Oct. 11 and Oct. 16, and an Oct. 24 exhibition game against prep power Brisbane Academy, all in Waynesboro, all of which are open to the public.

FMS finished the 2013-2014 season with a 25-7 record and spent several weeks last season at the top of the national polls.

More information on the Fishburne PG program, including a link to the full 2014-2015 schedule, is online at www.FishburnePGBasketball.org.
