The Virginia Beach Police Department continues to investigate a man who has been charged with his actions involving minors on social media platforms.

Karl Adebahr, 38, of Virginia Beach, has been charged with attempted carnal knowledge of a minor, attempted production of child pornography and two counts of use of communications systems to facilitate offenses involving children. Adebahr was arrested on Oct. 30.

The VBPD computer crimes squad believe there may be additional victims.

He is suspected of using social media platforms with usernames similar to “JackJ38” to initiate conversations with minors.

This remains an active investigation.
