lgo_mlb_baltimore_oriolesUVA alum Tyler Wilson was roughed up in his third MLB start, and the Baltimore Orioles couldn’t rally in the late innings in an 8-6 loss at Tampa Bay on Friday night.

Wilson (2-2, 3.72 ERA) gave up six runs on eight hits in four and a third innings, striking out one and walking two.

Steve Pearce hit two home runs for Baltimore, his 12th and 13th of the season, and J.J. Hardy hit his eight homer of the year for the O’s (72-75), who remain five games back of the second wild-card spot in the American League.
