The Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers and Carolina Panthers clinched division titles, and the New Orleans Saints and San Diego Chargers earned wild-card playoff berths on a thrilling final Sunday in the NFL.

footballstock1The Denver Broncos (13-3) and Seattle Seahawks (13-3) each took the #1 seeds in their conference playoffs. New England (12-4) is the #2 seed in the AFC behind Denver, and Carolina (12-4) is the #2 seed in the NFC.

A quick look at the first round of the 2013-2014 NFL Playoffs.

AFC Wild Card Weekend

#5 Kansas City (11-5) at #4 Indianapolis (11-5): The Chiefs lost five of their last seven after a 9-0 start. Not the way you want to head into the playoffs. Indianapolis 24, Kansas City 17.

#6 San Diego (9-7) at #3 Cincinnati (11-5): Don’t write off the Chargers, who finished third in the toughest division in the NFL in 2013. Cincy has to be concerned with quarterback Andy Dalton’s four INTs on Sunday in the 34-17 win over Baltimore. Upset Special: San Diego 27, Cincinnati 23.

NFC Wild Card Weekend

#5 San Francisco (12-4) at #4 Green Bay (8-7-1): Aaron Rodgers is back. The Pack played eight games without their starting QB and still made the playoffs. I’m not even sure this is an upset. Green Bay 34, San Francisco 20.

#6 New Orleans (11-5) at #4 Philadelphia (10-6): Frigid Philly (forecast temperature at gametime Saturday night: 26 degrees) is not Dome, Sweet Dome for New Orleans. Philadelphia 24, New Orleans 19.
