Lynchburg: Bomb threat made at Heritage High School, 15-year-old in custody

A 15-year-old male responsible for leaving a bomb threat this morning at Heritage High School in Lynchburg was taken into custody.

The Lynchburg Police Department responded to the report at approximately 8:30 a.m. A student allegedly found a suspicious note in a restroom.

Police officers were able to quickly identify the individual responsible for the note.

The boy will be charged with making threats to bomb or damage buildings.
