The Waynesboro Children’s Hour features music and tales from Eve Watters, Charlottesville’s award-winning harpist and storyteller. For children 5 and over. Performance will be at Blue Ridge Christian Fellowship, 327 W. Main St. Downtown Waynesboro, 6 p.m. Ticket prices are $2 for children under 12 and $3 for adults. Tickets can be purchased at the door or call 540.943.9999 for reservations.

Gary Randal, local singer/song-writer, brings a dab of country, a bit of blues, a touch of soul and a few old recipes with a new and sometimes original flavor to Stone Soup Books and Cafe, 908 W. Main St., Downtown Waynesboro, 6 p.m. No cover charge. Space limited. Call for seating availability at 540.943.0084. Info: www.stonesoupbooks.net.

“The King and I” performed by the Shenandoah Valley Governor’s School students, Stage 4, Verona, 7 p.m. Tickets: $16 reserved, $12 general adult, $8 general youth. Info: www.shenanarts.org.

“W” (PG-13), Suter Science Center Auditorium, Eastern Mennonite University, Harrisonburg, 9 p.m. General admission is $2.50 at the door.
