The governor has put a focus on the two policy areas over the last four years, establishing Virginia’s first-ever prisoner re-entry statewide plan.

SMAC’s Remedy Rule competes at USA Swimming Winter Nationals

SMAC swimmer Remedy Rule competed against some of the best swimmers in the country this past weekend at the AT&T USA Swimming Winter Nationals at the University of Tennessee. Rule swam four events in the meet (100 & 200 fly, 200 free and 200 back) and swam fast enough to return to swim in finals at night in three of her four events.

Rodney Glasgow had a career-high 33 points, and Phillip Anglade finished two blocks shy of a triple-double as the VMI Keydets defeated the University of Virginia – Lynchburg Dragons, 110-78 in basketball action Monday night at Cameron Hall. With the win, VMI remains undefeated at home this season with a perfect 6-0 mark.

Report: Wake Forest set to hire former Richmond football coach Dave Clawson

Wake Forest is reportedly set to hire Bowling Green football coach Dave Clawson to replace Jim Grobe, who stepped down last week after a 13-year run that included an appearance in the 2006 Orange Bowl. Clawson just led Bowling Green to the MAC championship and a 10-3 regular season record.
