Interesting stuff going on in WWE with Jack Swagger. The Tea Party-inspired character turn that had Swagger as a heel dating back a year now may be taking on a new look and feel.
Swagger is being lined up for a program with Rusev, who with Lana as his mouthpiece talking up love for Russian President Vladimir Putin, is the classic foreign wrestling heel.
Even as a heel, Swagger and his manager, Zeb Colter, had at least the attention of fans, if not a solid fan base in and of itself. It will be worth paying attention to how fans who automatically go with the faces react to the turn.
