A group that conducts private stings of child predators confronted a Leesburg man who thought he was meeting an 11-year-old girl for sex on Thursday.

Predator Poachers called Leesburg Police on the man, Richard J. Solis, 29, of Leesburg, who has since been charged with four counts of solicitation of a minor under the age of 15.

Solis was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, where he is currently being held without bond, according to local police.

The incident was reported at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Police were called to a residence in the 700 block of Balls Bluff Road NE by the folks from Predator Poachers.

This remains an active investigation. Anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact the Leesburg Police Department at 703-771-4500 or via email at [email protected].
