Winter Storm Warning: 6-8 inches of snow now expected in Shenandoah Valley

snow-plow-headerThe national weather service has upgraded the Shenandoah Valley to a winter storm warning with snow expected to begin around 4 a.m. Tuesday and continue into the early evening.

Accumulations of 6-8 inches are possible from the storm, along with increasing cold temperatures and wind chills in the single digits as the day goes on.

Winds will gust to 30 mph later in the day on Tuesday.
