Tuesday, January 6, 6:30 pm – Pajama Night. Come in your jammies for a story and snack suitable for children in preschool or early elementary.

Tuesday, January 6, 7:00 pm – Craft Club. Bring your own project or try the project on the handout available at the circulation desk. Basic tools (scissors, tape, glue, etc.) are provided. Bring other supplies needed.

Friday, January 9, 9:30-11:30 am – Chat-N-Play provides interactive play for your little one and conversation for you. Open to children ages 0-3 and their caregivers.

Tuesday, January 13, 12:00 pmMusic at the Library featuring the Pete Campbell group. Free pizza and soda provided.

Thursday, January 15, 11:00 am-2:00 pm Health Fair. Free Health screenings provided by Augusta Health and Enroll Virginia provides help with the heath care marketplace.

Tuesday, January 20, 6:30 pm – Pajama Night. Come in your jammies for a story and snack suitable for children in preschool or early elementary.

Wednesday, January 21, 7:00 pm – Wednesday Night Book Club Fascinating and far ranging discussion with other book lovers. The book is provided, participants vote on selections, and a staff member leads the discussion. This month’s selection is The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom.

Friday, January 23, 9:30-11:30 am – Chat-N-Play provides interactive play for your little one and conversation for you. Open to children ages 0-3 and their caregivers.

Tuesday, January 27, 7:00 pmGo Green. Learn about the importance of recycling from Lesa Osteen, the Safety and Environmental Superintendent for the City of Waynesboro.

 

Weekly

Monday

10:30 am – Swing and Sway. This music and movement class is just the thing you need to get started in the morning. No stories, just song and dance. Ages 0-6.

4:00 pm – WPL Knitters. Bring your materials and socialize with other knitters.

 

Tuesday

6:30 pm – Happy Tales. Furry canine friends are ready to listen to you read. Please make an appointment.

 

Wednesday

9:30 am –  Mother Goose Time is an interactive program featuring songs, finger-plays, books, movements, and nursery rhymes for children from birth through age two and their caregivers.

10:30 am – Story Time features books, stories, songs, puppets, flannel board activities, and crafts for children ages two through five accompanied by an adult.

 

Thursday

9:30 am – Mother Goose Time is an interactive program featuring songs, finger-plays, books, movements, and nursery rhymes for children from birth through age two and their caregivers.

10:00 amComputer classes are offered Thursday of every week. Classes rotate between Computer Basics, Basic Internet Skills, Introduction to Microsoft Word and Introduction to Microsoft Excel.  Call (540) 942-6746 to register.
