The suspect in an Aug. 6 shooting on 5th Street Southwest in Charlottesville is now in custody.
Nysoun Malik Gardner, 20, turned himself in on Wednesday, the Charlottesville Police Department reported in a release.
Gardner faces three charges – the most serious of which is for malicious wounding.
An earlier release from the PD tells us that the incident, which took place at 1:37 a.m. on Aug. 6, began as an altercation in the parking area on the west side of the building before shots were fired from within a vehicle.
Officers located three victims suffering from gunshot wounds: a 74-year-old man, a 19-year-old man, and a 17-year-old juvenile male.
