The Waynesboro Players will present an original Christmas play Dec. 11-14 at Blue Ridge Community College’s Black Box Theatre for four performances.

I’ll Be Home for Christmas by Barter Theater Playwright in Residence Catherine Bush brings together family, home, faith and connection.

The plot centers around an idealistic young woman, a bossy Italian mother, an Army sergeant, a Jewish plumber and a champion turkey caller who all meet at an airport on Christmas Eve. Tensions come out as they learn their flight home is delayed.

The performances will be offered at 7 p.m. Dec. 11-13 and 3 p.m. for the final performance on Dec. 14.
