A Churchville man is dead from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash on Deerfield Valley Road in Augusta County on Monday.
Adam C. Maxwell, 38, was thrown from the motorcycle and died at the scene of the 12:04 a.m. accident, according to Virginia State Police.
Maxwell’s 1998 Suzuki motorcycle had been traveling south on Deerfield Valley Road when it ran off the right side of the road, striking a boulder one mile south of Hankey Mountain Highway.
