Staunton City Council will meet Thursday at 5:35 p.m. for a work session and at 7:30 p.m. for a business meeting.

6:45 p.m. Closed Session: Pursuant to Virginia Code Section 2.2-3711.A.3, for the purpose of discussing and considering a proposal to the City to acquire real estate involving a pedestrian passageway in the City of Staunton, because discussion in an open meeting would adversely affect the bargaining position or negotiating strategy of the City with the property owner; and To consider and discuss specifically the evaluation of one or more Council appointee(s) as it relates to responsibilities, goals and performance, pursuant to Virginia Code Section 2.2-3711(A)(1).
