Postgame: UVA basketball player London Perrantes on Wake Forest win

UVA guard London Perrantes talks with reporters after the second-ranked Cavaliers defeated Wake Forest, 61-60, in ACC action on Saturday in Charlottesville, Va. Perrantes had 11 points in the win.

On his shooting woes: “I don’t know. I’m just going to keep shooting. I feel like I do a lot of shooting, a lot of extra stuff and it is a little frustrating for me, but we are winning, so I can’t be too frustrated. I’m just going to keep working on my shot, keep practicing, and keep shooting it.”

On Dinos Mitoglou’s big night: “It is because he plays basically the 5, and a 5-man shooting the ball is tough to guard for anybody, unless you have a guard who can play the 5. I feel like Darion [Atkins] did pretty well with that because he is so quick and was able to get back fast. We knew coming in it was going to be tough because he shot the ball extremely well and has such a quick release. He knocked down some crucial ones toward the end.“
