newspaperOn September 5th, a new show will open, displaying painted wood by various OASIS artists. This show is a fundraiser for OASIS. The show will also include a doll house, painted by Jewel Hertzler; the doll house will be painted in a Dr. Seuss theme and donated to Camp Still Meadows after the show. The show will continue through 30 September. In addition, August’s featured artist, brenda fairweather, will continue her show “Thrown and Woven” through the end of September. These exhibitions are free at OASIS Fine Art & Craft, 103 S. Main Street, Harrisonburg.

New Members: OASIS welcomes new members Ken Brunk and Joshua Mathias. Ken Brunk of Dayton builds handmade custom furniture including sturdy folding leather and canvas safari chairs, folding tables and high quality boxes and leather carriers.
