Lynchburg | Police search for suspect wanted for stealing a safe at local business

The Lynchburg Police Department is searching for a man responsible for a burglary on Tuesday morning.

Nico Pollard, 36, is wanted for grand larceny in connection to the incident which occurred at approximately 9 a.m.

According to police, Pollard forcibly entered a business in the 1700 block of Park Avenue and removed a safe containing an undisclosed amount of cash.

A second suspect is currently being developed as part of the investigation.

The Lynchburg Police Department asks anyone with information about Pollard’s whereabouts or about this case to contact Officer Wardlow at (434) 282-7749 or call Crime Stoppers at (888) 798-5900.
