Lynchburg: Police obtain security footage of suspect in May 6 murder

Lynchburg murder suspect 050625 The Lynchburg Police Department has released an image and video of a suspect in the death of 25-year-old Zaykeese Amarius Brown, who was killed on May 6.

Police have released security footage in the shooting investigation showing a person of interest and are asking the public to help identify the individual dressed in all black.

The shooting took place in the 2000 block of Bedford Avenue. Friends went to his home after he suddenly stopped communicating with them in a chat room while playing a video game.

Brown was pronounced deceased upon arrival at Lynchburg General Hospital.

This is believed to have been an isolated incident, according to police.
