The weekly UVA Football radio show, “Coach’s Corner with Tony Elliott,” returns to the airwaves Tuesday, broadcasting from Dairy Market in Charlottesville from 7-8 p.m.
Elliott and John Freeman, “The Voice of the Cavaliers,” will welcome as the show’s guest Xavier Brown, who in his first game since tearing his ACL 10 months ago scored two touchdowns and totaled 98 yards from scrimmage in Saturday’s 34-8 win over NC State.
Brown’s 4-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter was his first since UVA’s Week 3 win over William & Mary last season. On the Cavaliers’ next possession in the second quarter, Brown hauled in a 45-yard touchdown reception, giving the ‘Hoos a 17-0 advantage.
Fans are encouraged to attend in person to watch and interact with the show while enjoying the full array of food, beverage and retail merchants located inside Dairy Market.
Free parking is available in the lot adjacent to Dairy Market.
