State Sen. Creigh Deeds and State Del. David Toscano will be hosting a joint town hall with State Dels. Steve Landes and Jimmie Massie to discuss board governance at the University of Virgnia and potential legislation for the 2013 General Assembly session.
The intent of the legislators is to get feedback on the events in June involving the University of Virginia Board of Visitors. The purpose of the town hall is to receive feedback from the UVa. community on how to proceed legislatively as the representatives for UVA and its surrounding community.
The event will be held at Caplin Auditorium at the UVa. School of Law on Thursday, Sept. 27, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
