Darren Young nominated for media award for ‘Ellen’ appearance

WWE Superstar Darren Young has been nominated for a GLAAD Media Award for his September 2013 appearance on “Ellen” in which he discussed his decision to come out.

Young had earlier in the year revealed to TMZ reporters that he is gay. He talked with “Ellen” host Ellen DeGeneres about his decision to reveal his sexuality, and the support he received from WWE Superstars.
