Virginia guard Kymora Johnson just missed a 30-point triple-double, going for 31 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds, in a 91-87 double-OT win at Florida State on Sunday.

The win for the ‘Hoos (12-3, 4-0 ACC, NET: 36) is their sixth in a row.

Florida State (5-11, 0-4 ACC, NET: 114) trailed by as many as 17, but was able to force overtime by holding UVA to eight points in the fourth quarter – on 4-of-13 shooting, with seven turnovers.

A Johnson layup with 1:12 to go in regulation gave Virginia a 67-63 lead, but the ‘Noles were able to tie the game with a pair of layups in the final 16 seconds from guard Sole Williams, who had 28 points (11-of-17 FG) on the day.

A Johnson jumper with 1:32 left in the first OT put UVA on top, 74-73, and a pair of Johnson free throws with 52 seconds left extended the lead to three, but Williams converted an and-one with 43 ticks left to force the second extra period.

Virginia took the lead at the four-minute mark on a three by Jillian Brown that put the ‘Hoos up one, at 79-78.

Johnson went 4-for-4 at the line in the final minute to close the game out.

Paris Clark had 22 points and eight rebounds for Virginia in the dub.
