Waynesboro based Vector Industries announced today that it has hired Chrissy Johnston to serve as director of sales and marketing.
Johnston brings more than 25 years of experience in sales and marketing to Vector Industries, which employs persons with diverse disabilities and enables them to reach their potential as productive community members.
“My initial focus will be to communicate to the business communities of Waynesboro, Staunton and Augusta County that Vector Industries is a fantastic resource that can increase a business’ profitability, speed up production and possibly free up resources for use elsewhere,” Johnston said.
“We are thrilled to have Chrissy and look forward to her helping Vector Industries increase the employment of persons with diverse abilities by growing our business both locally and regionally,” said Kent Iberg, CEO of Vector Industries, a non-profit organization that will be celebrating its 45th anniversary in 2014.
Vector Industries has warehouse and plant facilities that can assist businesses with packaging, product assemblies, quality inspections, document shredding, prototype testing and provides employment to citizens with disabilities in Waynesboro, Staunton and Augusta County.
