Item by Jim Bishop

“Musikgarten” at Eastern Mennonite University is now holding registration for its fall classes.

Age-appropriate classes are designed to develop children’s musical skills – rhythm, singing, listening, playing instruments, movement – while fostering their natural love of music.

Classes, taught by early childhood music specialist Martha Hills, begin the week of Sept. 22. Call 540-432-4277 for registration information or visit the web at www.emu.edu/music/musikgarten.

Music lessons with highly-qualified teachers are available at Eastern Mennonite University for students of all levels from age 3 and up. There are openings in guitar, piano, harp, flute, clarinet, saxophone, cello and violin. Call 540.432.4277 for registration information or visit www.emu.edu/music/prepprog.
