Mojo Saturday Night run ends with Erin Lundsford

Kevin Chisnell closes out his popular monthly show, Mojo Saturday Night, with Erin Lundsford and The Smokey Bandits. He discovered the group at the last Waynesboro Chili, Blues and Brews Festival and was impressed by the response of the audience that did not want them to leave the stage. The May performance of Mojo Saturday nights is at 8 pm on May 18. Doors opening at 7:30pm.

Staunton Music Guild launches Gift of Music Program

The first local performance sponsored by the Staunton Music Guild’s “Gift of Music” program will take place on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the Waynesboro Public Library, 600 S. Wayne Ave. The Staunton Music Guild (SMG) will provide matching funds to the Friends of the Library to present The Harmony Sisters at noon. The Harmony Sisters are SMG members Brenda Remis and Beth Lins. They will be performing a program of gospel, bluegrass and original songs.

Irish music favorite Solas to perform at Court Square

WMHS presents The Wedding Singer

The Wilson Memorial High School Music Department presents The Wedding Singer, produced through special arrangements with MTI, Musical Theatre International. Scheduled performances will take place at Wilson Memorial High School in the auditorium on Friday, April 19th at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 20th at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 21st in the afternoon at 3 p.m. Tickets are $5.00 for students at the door, general seating at the door $8.00 and reserved tickets for advanced sales are $10.00.
