Five members of the Highland County “Golden Oldies” group traveled to Elkins, West Virginia to see the American Mountain Theater musical production on June 27.
They found the program to be be “absolutely fantastic and very professional” and hope to be able to attend again in the future. They shared the experience with other bus groups from as far away as Pittsburgh and Chesapeake.
The show was followed by a smorgasbord at The Steer steakhouse before the return trip. This outing was provided under the Department of Rail and Public Transportation grant.
