Spring spectacular at the Richard Adams Variety Show

No one can fault Richard Adams for failing to make the most imaginative combinations for his monthly Variety show. April brings a spectacular array of talent from Opera and Tap Dancing to Accordians, banjo and flutes. All wrapped together with Richard’s famous audience participation sequences: “You Can Be on a Talk Show” and the “Sound Like a Cat Competition.” The April Richard Adams’ Variety Show is Friday, April 12 at 7:30 pm at WTA’s Gateway, 329 West Main in Downtown Waynesboro.

Open Mic Night returns to the Gateway

WTA’s Gateway will host the fourth round of the Open Mic Talent Night Competition on Thursday, March 28 at 7 pm. The prize for the winner will be a $50 cash prize and a chance to participate in the final competition in June. Winner of the final round will receive a contract for a paid-performance at WTA’s Gateway or the Wayne Theatre and a professional produced video for posting on websites and Facebook.

Meet Mark Twain at WTA’s Gateway

Actor Ryan Clemens, relative of Mark Twain (penname of writer Samuel L. Clemens) will bring his show Meet Mark Twain to WTA’s Gateway on Friday, March 22. His performance brings to life the celebrated American author and demonstrates that Twain’s wit and wisdom remain poignant and laugh-out-loud funny today, more than a century after his passing. The performance is at 7:30 pm. The Gateway is at 329 West Main in downtown Waynesboro.
