Traffic on Route 29 (Emmet Street) between Hydraulic Road and Morton Drive will be shifted to the outside of the current pavement on Wednesday and Thursday nights to allow construction of an additional southbound lane in the median strip.

The Virginia Department of Transportation is scheduled to close part of Interstate 64 in Augusta County on April 6 and 7 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night. The closures are for bridge work between mile markers 89 and 93 in the Fishersville area.
