
VDOT to close Route 801 in Augusta County Jan. 26 for bridge replacement
A portion of Route 801 (Hangers Mill Road) in Augusta County will close for about nine months beginning Monday, January 26, during replacement of a bridge over Jennings Branch.

Motorists should be alert for northbound and southbound slow roll lane closures on the morning of Sunday, January 11, along Interstate 81 in northern Frederick County.

The left lane of southbound Interstate 81 will be closed for repairs around mile marker 215 in Augusta County. The closure will begin at 8 p.m. on Monday, January 5 and is expected to remain in place until the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 6.

The Virginia Department of Transportation has scheduled soil-testing work in the area of Interstate 81, Exit 257 (Mauzy/Broadway/Timberville) in Rockingham County from Jan. 6-27, 2015.
